NEWS:

So I am developing the layout that I want for my website and , my very best girly , is gonna design it for me hopefully..

I am a photographer and I am working to beef up my portfolio.

Im looking for:

1) models who are looking to build up their own portfolios of things they have modeled for. (you help me, i will help you and make you a portfolio cd)

OR

2) people who want to take some portraiture shots for fun. (I will also give you a copy of what i take)

This is not a paying job, and no experience is required. I am just looking to add to what i already have.

I do a lot of different types of photography... and i am always looking for new ideas..

Themes I have done:

1) "Mrs. Robinson" - the rich woman with fur coats and rings. This was a fasion shoot to work with clothing, poses and lighting

2) "fairies are real" - this was a shoot done for a family who makes celtic clothing and i made pics for their magazine. This shoot was mainly location, custumes, and poses.

3) "California Beach bunny" - This shoot was done (ironically) at a lake near my old house. This shoot was mainly practicing using reflectors (lighting), location, and poses.

4) "Light Lines" - This is a series of dark portraits done for a show i did at Barnes and Noble for my senior photo class. The shoots focus was lighting and poses.

5) "GirlBoy" - A story about a girl who wants to be a boy. She throws away her girl clothes, she does boy things like shaves and reads boy magazines. She tries lifting weights and still doesn't feel like a boy. She finally cuts her hair and in the mirror she sees herself. Is she satisfied? The look on her face doesn't really tell you.

5) "My Best Friend 'Umbrella'" - A little mini shoot of a girl and her best friend.. her umbrella. It was mainly just a silly shoot me and my best friend did together.. she was in a colorful dress and wanted to take photos with my umbrella.. don't look too deep into them.

6) "Writer's Block for the Romantic Author" - a series about an author who has writers block for her newest romance novel because she has never experienced love. We used window lighting and portrayed her on the floor and scattered about her were dozens of papers or "drafts".

7) "Red Mistress"- My best friend wanted to take photos with her new makeup. We had a red headband, a red bra, a red tie, and a black shirt. Part two of this segment will come later I hope where both of us are opposites. I will be in a red colared shirt, black bra, black headband, and if i can find one.. black tie.

8) "Purple Amora" - Miss C has really out done herself this time. Pinup style in the coolest purple room i've ever seen. Apologies for some photos not being the most crisp.. i couldnt bring my tripod with me and we used ONE window to light the whole god damn room.. so it was a bit of a challenge.

9) "Gothgirl" - A friend of a friend wanted to be a model so I was referred and bam. There we are meeting infront of old navy down town and walking to the Yerba Buena Center. It was a great day out for photos. She's got her own unique look and I like that.

Things I'm waiting to do:

- 1950's shoot - we got the dress, now we need the props.



* I'd really like to get into some more 'conceptual photography' where it isnt just a pretty girl... there's meaning behind things.. I like my photo essays.. but I want photos that are clever and not so cliche..
